The Role:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager in the United States to join Trans Audit, the worldwide leader in global transportation post audit services. Our Clients span virtually all industries and include Fortune 500 and Global 1000 entities and privately held companies, most having a global presence. Position is responsible for generating quality leads, meeting with prospects and Clients, managing prospect and Client interaction, responding to RFPs, negotiating, and closing Client deals, documenting correspondence and activities in Trans Audit’s CRM and additional duties as assigned.

Our Team:

Trans Audit’s highly skilled team of transportation and logistics experts come from varied backgrounds from shippers, carriers, finance, accounting, and service providers. You will join a global team that is Client-centric and works holistically to better serve our Clients. We provide monetary returns and greater awareness into client operations by supplying valuable insights allowing for root cause analysis and the ability to correct recurring billing and payment errors.

About You:

  • You are a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, marketing, sales or related field
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with demonstrated success in selling in the field of logistics/transportation
  • You have in-depth transportation and supply chain knowledge
  • You have proven success calling on all levels of management, including C-level contacts
  • You have a professional network, preferably in the transportation/shipper field
  • You are organized with very strong sense of urgency, Client focus and self-initiative
  • You have experience in developing and maintaining Client/prospect relationships
  • Excellent communication and computer skills are required: Business Dynamics or Salesforce, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
